The purpose of this notice is to provide guidance to reporting issuers (other than investment funds) on existing continuous disclosure (CD) requirements relating to environmental matters under securities legislation.
This notice clarifies existing disclosure requirements relating to environmental matters and does not create any new legal requirements or modify existing ones. It is intended to assist issuers in: determining what information about environmental matters needs to be disclosed, and enhancing or supplementing their disclosure regarding environmental matters, as necessary.
