The Alpha Group’s 2010 Report is the eighth assessment of how the New Economics Regulations Act is being enforced. It studies the way in which social information is addressed in annual documents for financial year 2009 of CAC 40 (French stock market index) companies (reference documents, annual reports, sustainable development reports). Only the quality of reporting is considered and not the social policy itself.

The Economic Studies and Environmental Evaluation Directorate (D4E) conducted a study published in 2008 on the way the media sector is fulfilling its environmental responsibility. On the basis of environmental information included in its 2005 and 2006 reports, the study took stock of the situation and suggested ways to improve practices.

Capitalcom and RiskMetrics measured the quality of extra-financial communication and practices of the largest listed companies in Paris in the areas of the environment, diversity and governance. The main trends and best practices were identified. The companies were ranked according to their overall performance in the three chosen criteria areas.

The second version of the report by Novethic and the firm, Des Enjeux et des Hommes, studies what CAC 40 companies have done to get their employees involved in CSR in their 2007 sustainable development reports.
