GRI conducted a study on CSR reporting in the airports sector which will serve as a basis for the Airports Sector Supplement. It provides an overview of reporting practices taken from 17 sustainability reports conducted in 2007. The analysis helps identify how GRI indicators are used to address issues specific to this area of activity and themes that could be used in the Supplement.

The purpose of the GHG emissions quantification Transport Protocol, developed by EpE (Entreprise pour l'Environnement) with the collaboration of ADEME, is to provide guidelines for companies and other organisations to quantify report and verify the GHG emissions generated by the transportation of persons and goods in relation to their activities.
